Nollywood actor Ime Bishop Umoh, popularly known as Okon, has expressed his prayer and concerns for the incoming administration as Nigeria prepares for the May 29 inauguration.

News About Nigeria confirmed in a post shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, Okon voiced his hope that the incoming government would not mismanage the country to a point where citizens would long for the previous administration.

The actor expressed his worry that it has become a common trend for Nigerians to miss their past leaders because the state of the economy tends to worsen with each successive government.

Okon specifically commented on the outgoing president, stating that he believes President Buhari only contested for the presidency to fulfill his own selfish, lifelong ambition of ruling Nigeria again, rather than with a genuine desire to serve the nation.

Considering this, Okon sincerely prayed that Nigerians would not have a reason to miss the Buhari administration, indicating his desire for the incoming administration to bring positive change and effectively manage the affairs of the country.

He wrote, “Wasn’t really about us. It was only about his lifelong ambition of leading Nigeria at the apex level whether by military or civil rule. Like one who is h*rny, he has cum.. pleasured, satisfied, done and dusted! Nigerians always miss their past leaders cos things are always getting worse. My prayer: May we not have a Nigeria where we all will sincerely miss BUHARI. God abeeggg!!!”

Meanwhile, the presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has beseeched his supporters and other citizens of the country to remain calm and law-abiding.

According to the former Anambra State governor, only the court of law will decide the actual winner of the poll in due course.

Peter Obi who spoke on the sidelines of an event in Kaduna State, stated that the peace, unity, and security of the country is more paramount than any other interest.

He, therefore, called on all citizens to be law-abiding and work for the progress and development of the nation.
