Linus Williams Ifejika, a Nigerian tech innovator and cryptocurrency investor, who is also known as BLord, has reportedly rejected an offer of $10 million from a foreign investor for his latest innovation, the BillPoint app.

As confirmed by News About Nigeria, in a statement released by his media office, BLord turned down the offer because his team believes the app would generate much more profit than the offered amount in just a few years.

The BillPoint app was launched in April 2023 and is designed to make it easy for users to buy cheap airtime, and data, and pay their electricity and cable TV bills.

The app has reportedly generated a lot of interest and revenue within days of its launch, which BLord sees as a testament to its value and potential to solve problems for users in the coming years.

In his statement, BLord explained that the introduction of the BillPoint mobile app is a rejuvenation of modernity, and his team believes that it is capable of generating much more profit than the offered amount.

He added that the app’s success is proof of how valuable the product is, and he is confident that it will continue to generate significant revenue in the future.

According to him, “The BillPoint app is here to make transactions easy for Nigerians. It is an unarguable fact that no one walks down to vendors to sort their bills any longer when they can do so online that is one of the more reasons this App will succeed and I am optimistic about the future of the app and it’s acceptability.”

BLord, who is known for his contributions to the development of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, founded the B-Lord Group and has been recognized as a leading figure in Nigeria’s tech industry.

His refusal of the $10 million offer has been viewed by many as a testament to his belief in the value of his products and his commitment to the growth and development of Nigeria’s tech sector.
