Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has revealed that she has given her life to Christ.
News About Nigeria reports that the daughter to billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, revealed her new ‘identity’ in a post shared on her Instagram account on Friday.
In the post, the singer and Disc Jockey noted that fully dedicating her life to Christ is the best decision she has ever made in her life.
Sharing photos from her water baptism, DJ Cuppy noted that baptism is not just a ceremony that Christians do but it is a ‘transformation.’
Declaring her new found faith and identity, Cuppy stated that she is now a new creation because she has been reborn in God’s grace.
She said, “This summer, I made THE best decision of my life – to fully dedicate my life to God. Baptism isn’t just a ceremony; it’s a transformation. I am a new creation, reborn in His grace. The way to live us actually to die.”
She further stated that she has now discovered her purpose in a new light, adding that, though she is still DJ Cuppy, she would now ensure that every beat and every moment has a deeper meaning.
“Of course, I am still DJ Cuppy but now every beat, every moment has a deeper meaning. I see life in a new, brighter light. At 31, I finally understand what it really means to a purpose driven life. Each day, I am learning to live with intention, guided by something bigger than myself. Thank you, Father, for your salvation. #GodsVeryOwn.”
