Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has demonstrated the true meaning of friendship by choosing to ditch her dress for a friend’s wedding.
According to the actress, she discovered that the outfit she had chosen for the event had the same material and colour as that of the bride.
In a post on her Instagram page, Tonto Dikeh revealed that she had tasked her stylist with designing a new look, despite it being only two days before the wedding.
She explained that she made the decision out of respect for her friend who is the groom and the bride by extension, News About Nigeria gathered.
“I just think it’s only right and fair I don’t wear that outfit, seeing that the groom is my friend and the bride a stranger. I believe in respecting my friends’ homes and decisions, and that majorly includes their partners,” the actress wrote.
Tonto Dikeh’s decision to ditch her dress has won the admiration of fans and fellow celebrities who have applauded her for being a true friend.
