Paris Saint-Germain has left Kylian Mbappe out of their pre-season tour of Japan, News About Nigeria reports.

The decision comes after Mbappe declared that he would not renew his contract with PSG, leaving the club with a difficult decision on whether to sell him this summer or risk losing him for free next year.

New PSG boss Luis Enrique announced the touring squad on Friday, and notably, Mbappe’s name was missing from the list.

This absence adds to the uncertainty surrounding the player’s future at the Parc des Princes.

The 22-year-old forward had previously expressed his intention to play for PSG in the upcoming season despite not signing a new deal.

This has sparked intense speculation about his potential move to Real Madrid, with the Spanish giants long seen as the frontrunners to secure Mbappe’s signature.

In a recent friendly match against Le Havre, Mbappe showcased his quality on the pitch, scoring a goal in PSG’s 2-0 victory.

However, his omission from the pre-season tour indicates that the club may be contemplating a transfer before the summer window closes.

The situation has left PSG supporters eagerly watching Mbappe’s next move, as his future remains uncertain.

Meanwhile, his 16-year-old brother Ethan has been included in the touring squad, adding an intriguing subplot to the story.

In addition to Mbappe’s contract situation, PSG is also grappling with the future of Brazilian star Neymar, whose future at the club has also been under speculation.

PSG’s pre-season tour in Japan includes matches against Al Nassr, Cerezo Osaka, Inter Milan, and Jeonbuk Motors.
