"I'll Continue To Fight Alongside Tinubu," - Sacked Women Affairs Minister

Uju-Kennedy Ohanenye, the recently dismissed Minister of Women Affairs, has pledged her continuous commitment to the President Bola Tinubu-led government.

Despite the move by the President to relieve her of her duty as Minister of Women’s Affairs, Ohanenye has resolved that she would “fight alongside” the President to fix Nigeria.

News About Nigeria reports that the former minister stated this in a statement on her official X account on Saturday.

In the statement, Ohanenye pledged her commitment to Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda.

She further urged Nigerians to not lose hope but to be optimistic that Nigeria will be great again.

Speaking further, she noted that President Tinubu is destined by God to fix the country and to bring all the hardship that Nigerians are suffering from to an end.

She wrote, “This is a test of time, a highly spiritual movement that no human being can stop. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to fix Nigeria and I, Barr Uju Kennedy will fight alongside him to the last. Let’s be optimistic Nigeria will be great! – Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye.”

Recall that Ohanenye was sacked alongside the Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John; Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman; Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo; and Minister of Youth Development, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim.

Also, the suspended Humanitarian Ministry, Betta Edu was officially sacked by the President.

According to the Presidency, the decision is in line with Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring that every member of his cabinet carries out their various tasks effectively.
