'Stop Calling My Phone' – Apostle Suleman Reacts To Halima Abubakar's Apology

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, has reacted to the apology tendered by Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar.

Speaking in a short statement shared on his official X account on Wednesday, the clergyman noted that forgiveness is not memory loss.

He also tasked those who have been calling him to apologise on Halima’s behalf and to stop calling his phone.

Apostle Suleman wrote, “You all stop calling my phone. Forgiveness is not memory loss! Status quo maintained!”

News About Nigeria earlier reported that the Nollywood actress apologised to the pastor for defaming him.

Recall that the drama between the duo began in 2022 when the actress accused the pastor of having sexual affairs with her.

However, in a swift turn of events, the actress took to social media to share an open apology letter to the clergyman.

She had also apologised to his wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, and the entire Omega Fire Ministries for the trouble she caused them.

The letter reads, “I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr Lizzy Suleman, your family and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry. With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognising that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain and distress I caused and I ask you to find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then. I’m truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and ministry.”
