'I’m Truly Sorry For All The Hurts I Caused You' - Actress Halima Abubakar Apologises To Apostle Suleiman

On Wednesday, Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar tendered an unreserved apology to the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, for defaming him.

News About Nigeria reports that in her apology letter, the actress admitted to spreading falsehoods against Suleman and causing him pain via social media.

Recall that the drama between Halima Abubakar and Apostle Suleman started in 2022 when the actress became bedridden following her altercation with the clergyman.

While in that condition, the actress and her family took to social media to call out the clergyman to stay away from her, accusing him of not only having an affair with her but also trying to destroy her life.

However, in a shocking turn of events, the actress has now sought the forgiveness of Apostle Suleman in a letter sent to the clergyman.

In the letter which she shared on her Instagram account, Halima expressed deep regrets for tarnishing his image, hoping her letter could repair the damage to an extent.

She also apologised to the clergyman’s wife, Dr. Lizzy, his children, and the entire Omega Fire Ministries.

The letter of apology reads, “I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr Lizzy Suleman, your family and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry. With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognising that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain and distress I caused and I ask you to find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then. I’m truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family and ministry.”
