Kellyrae, the Big Brother Naija season 9 winner has cried out to family, friends, and fans to stop billing him.
News About Nigeria reports that Kellyrae expressed his frustration over relentless financial requests from family and friends while speaking in a recent interview with the media personality, Hero Daniels.
According to him, after he disclosed that he had given his wife, Kassia N55 million from his prize money, people started ringing him nonstop, asking to be given financial help.
He further noted that he cannot offer any help now as he is not yet wealthy enough to do so.
The reality TV star also lamented the fact that things are now so expensive, adding that he is still trying to cater and meet his own needs.
Kellyrae said, “I was receiving calls from people close to us after I said I gave Kassia N55 million and they were asking for their own share of my prize money. I would like to say to everyone, I’m not a rich man yet, please. The money is big but things are expensive. Even if it’s an egg I want to buy, how many crates of eggs will I buy? Please allow a brother to settle.”
His disclosure has since been sparking various reactions on X where it was shared.
