VeryDarkMan Seeks Court Approval To Appeal Defamation Ruling Favouring Femi Falana, Falz

Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan has confirmed that music producer Don Jazzy donated N100 million to his non-governmental organisation (NGO).

VeryDarkMan announced this news on his verified Instagram account on Thursday, expressing his surprise and gratitude for the generous contribution.

Previously, VDM raised concerns after receiving an anonymous donation of N100 million, which increased his NGO’s total balance to N170 million.

In an earlier post, he appealed to Nigerians and Zenith Bank for help, clarifying that he was not involved in any fraudulent activities and was unaware of the donor’s identity.

Despite reaching out to several contacts, no one initially stepped forward to claim responsibility for the large donation.

Later, VDM received a message from Don Jazzy, whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh.

In the message, Don Jazzy confirmed his support, stating, “Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be as transparent as you have always been.”

In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan shared the message and transaction receipt, expressing deep gratitude for Don Jazzy’s generosity.

He said that he never expected such a huge donation from the music mogul.

VeryDarkMan’s NGO aims to support children in public primary schools who lack access to quality education.

He stressed the importance of a strong educational foundation and mentioned that the initiative seeks to create job opportunities for graduates willing to teach.

Since launching his NGO on July 12, 2024, VeryDarkMan had raised N21 million by July 13, quickly reaching a total of N170 million, largely due to Don Jazzy’s contribution.
