Kellyrae has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija’s latest season, “No Loose Guard,” clinching the grand prize on Day 71 of the reality show.
News About Nigeria reported that the announcement was made on Sunday by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, as the season came to a close.
Kellyrae outlasted seven other finalists—Soj, Anita, Nelly, Onyeka, Wanni, Victoria, and Ozee—to take home the N100 million prize package.
His winnings include a cash prize of N60 million and a brand-new car valued at N40 million.
Entering the competition alongside his wife, Kassia, who was evicted in the penultimate week, Kellyrae’s journey captivated fans.
Big Brother Naija has continued to capture the attention of fans nationwide since its first season in 2006, when Katung Aduwak became the inaugural champion.
In Season 2, Efe Ejeba won the “See Gobe” edition, which is memorable for his time with housemates like Bisola and TBoss.
Subsequent seasons saw Miracle’s win in the “Double Wahala” edition in 2018, Mercy Eke’s historic victory as the first female winner in 2019’s Season 4,
