Sowore Reacts To DSS Invasion Of SERAP Office, Arrest Of Ajaero

Presidential Candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has reacted to the invasion of the Socio-Economic Rights & Accountability Project (SERAP) office in Abuja, and the arrest of NLC President Joe Ajaero, News About Nigeria reports.

In separate tweets via his verified handle on X on Monday, Sowore condemned both acts, stating that they must be stopped immediately.

He described their acts as fascists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, claiming that the new DSS officials have begun working for the president and not the country.

Reacting to Ajaero’s arrest by officials of the DSS, Sowore questioned why the NLC has yet to shut down the country and side with the people.

He questioned if it is that they did some shady underground dealings they are being blackmailed with.

He wrote, “The new DSS @OfficialDSSNG has resumed work for his uncle Bola, as Operatives Storm @SERAPNigeria Office In Abuja, Demand To See Their Directors! Fascism of @officialABAT must be stopped NOW.”

“I can’t understand the pact @NLCHeadquarters leaders had with @officialabat for them not to have shut down the damn country and side with the people. Is it that they did some shady underground dealings they are being blackmailed with?”

Recall that the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, was arrested by operatives of the DSS on Monday, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja while on his way to attend a conference in the United Kingdom.

In a separate event, the operatives of the DSS also invaded the SERAP office in Abuja.
