Operatives of the Department of the State Service (DSS) have arrested the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, News About Nigeria reports.
It was gathered that Ajaero was apprehended at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Monday morning.
Sources have revealed that he has been handed over to the National Intelligence Agency, NIA.
Ajaero was about to board a flight to the United Kingdom, UK, for an official assignment when DSS picked him up.
He was supposed to attend the conference of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) in the UK held today.
