IYD: You're The Lifeblood Of Lagos State - Sanwo-Olu Tells Youths

The Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has described the youths of Lagos State as the lifeblood of the state, News About Nigeria reports.

He made this known in a statement commemorating 2024 International Youths Day via his verified handle on X on Monday.

He commended the energy, creativity, and potential of the youths of Lagos State, adding that they have continued to lead the way towards progress and crafting a brighter future for everyone.

He also lauded the passion and resilience of the youth, stating that it inspires him daily to give his best to govern the state.

The Governor further maintained that his administration is committed to the youths and will continue to work together to create opportunities, equip them with essential skills, and nurture their aspirations to greatness.

“Today, being #InternationalYouthDay, I want to take a moment to celebrate the remarkable energy, creativity, and potential of our youth in Lagos.

“You are the lifeblood of our state, leading the way towards progress and crafting a brighter future for everyone.

“Together, we’ll shape a Lagos that embodies your dreams.

“Your passion and resilience inspire me daily. I am steadfast in my commitment to you—we will keep working to create opportunities, equip you with essential skills, and nurture your aspirations.

“The future of Lagos rests in your hands, and I have full faith in your ability to guide us forward,” he stated.

The theme for this year’s Youths Day celebration is, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.”
