Celebrity music executive Ubi Franklin has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, after receiving a brand-new GAC car worth over N68 million from the singer.
The announcement was made on Franklin’s Instagram story, where he shared his excitement and appreciation.
In his post, Franklin thanked Davido for the generous gift and reaffirmed his love and respect for him.
He also extended his gratitude to GAC Motors Nigeria and Jubril of Lagos for their roles in the gesture.
“DAVID ADELEKE ❤️ Just gifted me a car. Bro, thank you for everything. I love you ❤️. Thank you @gacmotorsngr @jubriloflagos. Davido just knows how to do what’s right for his people, I truly appreciate you ❤️. Make I sleep and will continue in the morning,” Franklin wrote.
The news comes shortly after News About Nigeria reported that Israel DMW, a close associate of Davido, expressed his gratitude to the singer for helping him secure a 10-year UK visa.
In a related event, Ubi Franklin recently addressed a fan’s query during a Q&A session on his Instagram story.
The fan asked why he seemed more obsessed with the Adelekes, Davido’s family, than his own.
Franklin responded by stating that his love for his own family allows him to extend that same affection to others, considering the Adelekes as part of his family.
“If I wasn’t obsessed with my own family, you would not see that I’m obsessed with another person. Where I come from, we take care of home before we go outside. It’s family first, and the Adelekes are my family, so we do family first. In the world today, we just need healing because someone shows love to his friends and it’s a big problem. Go and find someone to be obsessed with, please, leave me and my friends and family alone,” Franklin stated.
