Increase In Fuel Price Insensitive - Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party in 2023, has urged his critics to redirect their focus towards improving the lives of Nigerians.

Rather than attacking him, Obi suggests that his detractors should channel their energy into alleviating the sufferings of the Nigerian people.

News About Nigeria understands that this statement comes in response to accusations made by President Bola Tinubu’s spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, who claimed that Obi is planning to incite violence in Nigeria.

Onanuga also labeled Obi a failed presidential candidate, implying that he is not a viable or credible leader.

Furthermore, Onanuga suggested that Obi should be held accountable for any crises that may arise from his actions.

However, Obi remains unfazed by these attacks and is instead urging his critics to focus on making Nigeria a better place.

Obi emphasized the need for collective efforts towards nation-building and improving the lives of Nigerians, rather than getting bogged down in personal attacks and politicking.

“I urge you to channel your energy and resources towards helping everyday Nigerians who are struggling to find their next meal, secure education for their children, gain employment, and access adequate healthcare,” the former Anambra governor said.

“Rather than fabricating lies, you and your paymasters should listen to the cries of the poor, who cannot afford medicine and who are uncertain about their next meal. Pay attention to the voices of reason from individuals and institutions that emphasize the plight of our citizens. Let us unite in building a nation where everyone can thrive-PO.”
