Controversial social media activist, Verydarkman, has sent out a public service announcement (PSA) to influencers in the country with the warning that he will continue to call out any of them who scam any individual or business.

Verydarkman, who gave the warning in a video he posted on his Instagram account on Friday, noted that instead of engaging in fraudulent transactions, influencers should learn to do the right thing.

In the video, Verydarkman started by saying that he’s their ‘Daddy’, and a watch guard to ensure that none of them would scam any innocent individual and go free.

He further noted that he is now an online police officer and will continue to call them out until he rids the system of rogues masquerading as influencers.

He warned the general public to desist from trusting them fully, stating that influencers shouldn’t be trusted because they’re only looking out for themselves.

Verydarkman also noted that some influencers are paid huge sums to promote fake things that their trusting fans end up losing money to, and they go about their lives like nothing happened.

He acknowledged, however, that there are still a few honest influencers in Nigeria who don’t scam the masses because they have a good conscience.

News About Nigeria recalls that Verydarkman recently called out popular influencer, Ashmusy, for owing a businessman the sum of one million Naira for an advertisement that she failed to deliver since 2023.

True to his claim, the influencer promptly returned the money to the Alaba-based businessman.

Despite paying up the one million naira, VDM is still dragging Ashmusy, accusing her of owing a certain lady hundreds of dollars.

The influencer was said to have promised to teach the woman a skill for the said amount, but has since failed to hold her end of the bargain.
