IMF Urges Nigeria To Regulate Global Crypto Trading Platforms

A foreign cryptocurrency trader has appreciated a Nigerian man for returning $14k that was mistakenly sent to him by a foreign crypto trader.

News About Nigeria gathered that the Nigerian, simply identified as Lucky, won a $100 dollar Solana in a giveaway organised by the foreign crypto trader.

However, rather than sending him the $100 Solana, the foreign trader had sent him 100 Solana in total which is estimated to be $14,000.

In a video shared on X by @Sports_Doctor2, the foreign crypto trader stated that he asked Lucky the Nigerian to send him back 90 Solana and keep the 10, and to his surprise, the young man sent it back.

He also expressed happiness over his honesty, saying that there is still hope and honest people in the crypto community.

Reacting to the video, @Sports_Doctor2 wrote, “A Nigerian returned 20 million naira worth of crypto sent to him by mistake after winning a giveaway. He has now received 6 million naira worth of donations for appreciation, in addition to the 2 million naira worth of crypto the original sender told him to keep. Honesty Pays!”

Also, another X user, @Jovitality9 said, “A good name is still better than riches. Honesty is often very hard. The truth is often painful. But the freedom it can bring is worth the trying.”

@Nwoleudo1 also wrote, “This is just the beginning of good things for him.
Good things will always locate someone doing good especially when nobody is watching that person.”

Another X user, @CuthbertCC wrote, “Not all Nigerians are fraudsters as the world sees us. We are good, hardworking and God-fearing people. This is refreshing.”
