The organisers of the BBNaija show disclosed this via a post on the show’s official X account on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
They noted that the show will commence one Sunday in July and urged their fans and viewers all over the country and beyond to anticipate and get ready for an electric show.

BBNaija is a Nigerian reality competition television series based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which, contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes, at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers who vote for their favourite housemates to remain in the show.
Recall that earlier in March, the show organisers revealed that unlike previous editions, the season will require participants to apply in pairs.
The show, which began airing in Nigeria in its first season in 2006, has continuously given Nigerians premium entertainment for the past eight years, and this year promises to be nothing short of electrifying.
The show, however, went on a break after its first season in 2006 and resumed airing in January 2017 with season 2, which was tagged See Gobe.
The reality show has produced several winners who have all benefited a lot from the show including cars, publicity, celebrity status, and huge amounts of money, among others.
The last season, the ‘All Stars Season’s, which ran from July 23, 2023, with 20 housemates, included ex-housemates and fan favourites from previous seasons of Big Brother Naija.
Ilebaye Odiniya was crowned the winner of the eighth season, and won 120 million naira.
