Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido has revealed that talent manager and Iyabo Ojo’s lover, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paul O, was the one who helped him earn his first N10 million.
The singer, who got married to his long-time lover, Chioma Rowland, said this in a now-viral video that was posted by influencer and blogger Tundeednut.
This comes after Paul O openly called on Cubana Chief Priest, Tundeednut and others to pick between himself and social media activist, Verydarkman.
News About Nigeria reported that Verydarkman has disrespected Iyabo Ojo, by claiming that she was not officially invited to Davido’s wedding.
Responding to Verydarkman, Paul O cautioned him, noting that people like Tundeednut and Cubana Chief Priest are the ones enabling him.
He also asked them to choose between being friends with him or Verydarkman.
Since Paul O made the statement on Wednesday, Tundeednut has stopped posting Verydarkman.
In a new video shared by Tundeednut on Friday, Davido was seen hugging Paul O. The singer recounted how the talent manager helped him make his first N10 million.
Reacting to Tundeednut’s post on Instagram, Paul O wrote, “Be kind. Work hard. Respect. Thank God. All of us was not born with golden spoon, it’s all about respect.”
Also, an Instagram user, @evv_lynee wrote, “PaulO na godfather, that ex-convict has no right to disrespect him. He’s helped many people in the industry.”
Another Instagram user, @deagram_ wrote, “One good thing about Davido is that he’s always grateful. That’s great. VDM will wish he never had an affair with PaulO.”
