Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido has responded to the congratulatory message shared by his former lawyer, Bobo Ajudua.
Commenting on Ajudua’s heartfelt note to him and Chioma on their recent wedding ceremony, Davido expressed his love for his former lawyer and friend.
He wrote, “Love you my brother.”
News About Nigeria reports that the declaration of love came after rumours broke that their friendship ended on bad terms after Bobo Ajudua’s contract as Davido’s official lawyer was terminated.
This was, however, proven to be false, as the lawyer was part of Davido’s groomsmen for the wedding and is still maintaining a good relationship with the singer and his family.
In his congratulatory message to the couple today, Ajudua reflected on his friendship with Davido.
He also reiterated how much of a blessing Chioma has been in their lives, adding that she is a blessed soul that deserves nothing short of joy and genuine happiness.
His post on Instagram reads; “This week one of my oldest friends got married to the love of his life who also became my sister over the years. Honestly watching you both grow into what has become this unbreakable bond has been one of the most beautiful things ever. Together through the ups and downs. The highs and lows. All to prepare you for this fateful day and beyond. These are what fairy tales are made of and I’m so grateful to be a part of and witness this blessed story. My sister Chiom, this is all about you. You are such a blessed soul and you deserve nothing short of the joy, happiness and calm you exude.
