The latest celebrity couple in town, Davido and Chioma, have embarked on their honeymoon, leaving Nigeria for a romantic honeymoon.
News About Nigeria reports that the news about their honeymoon getaway was made public after Davido posted a photo of his jet while expressing gratitude to Nigerians for making the day magical.
Also, Davido’s aide, Israel DMW, shared a more detailed video of the couple boarding the jet, along with photos and videos of them preparing for takeoff, on his Instagram story.
The video has since been sparking various reactions from netizens on Instagram.
Reacting to this, an Instagram user @drdapcee cautioned the couple to return to loving a pribate life on the grounda that social media is not healthy for their marriage.
He wrote, “People should stop posting their private life on social media. It’s not healthy. It never helps.”
Also, @gentle101e queried why Davido was not holding Chioma as they boarded the private jet.
He said: “David u no try for this one. How u go leave Chi dey waka front first enter plane. Nawaa oo. Abi u don tire”
Another Instagram user @lagos_joy who is excited for the couple wishes them a lifetime of happiness.
She said: “The life I signed for. Congratulations to them a lifetime happiness is all i wish them.”
Recall that Davido and Chioma’s wedding, which was held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, not only shut down Lagos, where it was held but also took over all social media platforms.
The wedding, which could unarguably pass for the biggest celebrity wedding since the year began, is still the talk of the town.
