Veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has responded to Verydarkman’s claim that she was not invited to Davido and Chioma’s wedding, which was held yesterday in Lagos State.
News About Nigeria had reported that the controversial social media activist slammed Iyabo Ojo and other celebrities like Ashmusy and Nkechi Blessing, saying that they were only invited to the after-party and not the main wedding event.
Reacting to his claim, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to share the official wedding invite she got for the wedding from Davido’s sister, Sharon Adeleke, who indicated that she was sent by Davido.
She further shared a photo of herself and Chioma at the wedding, along with other slides that contained evidence that she was indeed officially invited to the event.
Her revelation has intensified netizens’ anger against Verydarkman, as men are saying he is a young man with no respect for elders.
Reacting to her post on Instagram, @mrfunny1_ cautioned Verydarkman to respect Iyabo Ojo as she is not his mate.
He wrote, “Respect is reciprocal, let’s keep social media aside, we should still remember our age mates.”
Another Instagram user, @viki_d_fabrics said she was disappointed that Iyabo Ojo replied Verydarkman, she added that the veteran actress would have snubbed him.
She wrote, “Sis, you really disappointed me, must you always reply such people that wants to use you to trend? The matter is that you were actually invited, the rest is meaningless.”
Also, @just_prefy said, “Just leave that boy, he is just mannerless, you have been a celebrity when he was still in primary school.”
Recall that Davido and Chioma’s wedding shut down all social media platforms yesterday as pictures and videos from their wedding took over the internet.
