Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said that Nigerians are happy over his wedding with his long-time sweetheart, Chioma Rowland.
News About Nigeria reports that the couple’s wedding, which is happening today in Lagos State, has got many, both in and outside Nigeria, excited.
This is because the lovebirds have crossed so many hurdles together, yet their love for each other remains unbreakable.
Notable of such is the death of their first child together, Ifeanyi Adeleke who reportedly died after drowning in their home.
In a video with fans hailing him on his way to the venue of the wedding ceremony on his verified Instagram account, Davido noted that, “Nigeria is happy.”
He wrote, “Today 25th of June, 2024 marks a new beginning for Chioma and Davido. May this day be filled with joy, happiness, peace and love as you two become one. No Force on earth will come between you. Wishing you a lifetime of good health, prosperity and endless blessings. Happy married life. #CHIVIDO.”
Reacting to his post on Instagram, Super Eagles goal keeper, Stanley Nwabali wrote, “See as wedding dey sweet.”
Also, popular Nigerian billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana noted that indeed Nigerians are very happy. He also hailed Davido as his in-law saying, “Yes, we are happy, very happy ooo. Ogo m!”
Also, another Instagram user, @miracle_brown1 wrote, “Them love this man gan, really for Nigerians to be talking about this event this much mean, David is king!”
Another Instagram user @kinggeorgetown_ prayed that the wedding would mark the beginning of a beautiful journey for the couple.
