On Tuesday, Nigerian singer and songwriter Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known simply as Chike, serenaded Davido and his wife, Chioma with an amazing performance at their wedding in Lagos State.
In a now-viral video on social media, the lovebirds were seen lovingly dancing to Chike’s ‘Running to You’, as he sang passionately.
The happy couple were singing along and also demonstrating the lyrics of the song.
Reacting to the video on Instagram, @daisy_noba said she is already exhausted because she has been too excited for the couple since the wedding started this morning.
She posted, “My mouth don dey pain me. I just dey smile since morning, I never close mouth.”
Another Instagram user, @michael_x hailed Davido noting that he made the right choice by inviting Chile to perform for him.
He said, “David made the right choice to have called in Chike. It’d make this part of the wedding very romantic.”
Also, another Instagram user, @yujayictworld, “I just dey smile every minute since today. My brother dey ask me say wetin dey happen, if na me dey marry.”
News About Nigeria reported that Davido and Chioma’s wedding could unarguably be the biggest event in Nigeria since the year began.
The couple’s big day successfully took over all social media platforms, and pictures and videos from the event have been trending all day. Many netizens called themselves online in-laws as they attended the wedding virtually.
Also, dignitaries and celebrities graced the event to celebrate the beginning of a new journey for the lovebirds.
