Eniola Badmus Announces New Role As Aide To Speaker Abass

On Monday, Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus announced her appointment as the Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abbas.

News About Nigeria reported that Badmus’ appointment went viral on May 10 when images of her receiving her appointment letter surfaced on the internet.

She has, however, been mute about the appointment until today (Monday), when she confirmed that it was true in a post on her Instagram account.

In the post, the actress thanked Speaker Abbas for entrusting her with the role.

She noted that it is not just a boost to her career but also an avenue to contribute to nation-building.

Badmus pledged her commitment to working diligently and upholding the values of the team, adding that she is eager to collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective goals.

Her post reads, “A sincere heartfelt gratitude for entrusting me with the recent political appointment. It is an honour to be given this opportunity. I am truly honoured and excited to serve under your leadership, #speakerabbas, and I am deeply appreciative of the confidence you have placed in me. This appointment is not only a significant milestone in my career but also a chance to contribute meaningfully to our shared goals and vision.”

“Your support and belief in my abilities mean a great deal to me. I am committed to working diligently and upholding the principles and values that our team stands for. Thank you for your belief in my potential, and for giving me the chance to make a positive impact. Thank you once again for this incredible opportunity, Mr. Speaker #speakerabbas.”
