TikTok Permanently Bans Nigerian Man’s Account After 24-Hour Burial Challenge

TikTok has issued a permanent ban on the account of a Nigerian man known as Young C following his participation in a daring 24-hour challenge that involved being buried alive.

This decision from the social media platform comes amidst growing concerns over the safety and appropriateness of such extreme challenges.

The controversy began when Young C announced his intention to spend an entire day buried inside a coffin.

Through a series of posts on his Instagram page, he assured his followers that the stunt was legitimate and fake.

He even promised to livestream footage from inside the coffin during the nighttime portion of the challenge.

“I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.

“And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night.”

Young C eventually got buried alive and provided updates on his condition while inside a coffin.

After enduring over 8 hours underground, he said he was experiencing discomfort and physical distress, including excessive sweating.

“Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. As you can see, my camera is still rolling, and I have my light down there, I am sweating, guys.”

Despite these challenges, he continued with the stunt, maintaining communication with his audience and keeping his camera rolling throughout the ordeal.

On Thursday afternoon, he was successfully exhumed after spending 24 hours buried alive in a coffin.

He announced via his Instagram account on Thursday afternoon that his TikTok account had been suspended.
