Plateau Governor Announces Dissolution Of LG Committees

On Monday, governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang unveiled a new E-Governance platform with the aim of building a better participatory governance in the state, News About Nigeria reports.

During the launch of the platform today, the Plateau state governor explained that the platform will help the citizens and the government work hand-in-hand for a better Plateau.

According to him, this is because citizens can now freely interact with the government in a more better and easier way.

The Governor said, “Today marks a pivotal step in our journey towards transparent governance. This platform will revolutionise how citizens and government interact, ensuring that the voices of the Plateau people are heard clearly and responded to promptly.”

Also speaking at the launching of the innovation, the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the governor, Gyang Bere, explained that the platform would help the people to hold the government of the day accountable.

Bere further noted that part of the innovation’s primary assignment is to enhance transparency, efficiency, and public accountability in government operations.

He also stated that the innovation allows citizens to provide feedback, request services, and directly engage with various government agencies.

“The e-governance platform not only enables efficient service delivery but also provides a direct line of communication between the government and its citizens, thereby increasing transparency and accountability,” Bere stated.

The innovation which is said to be funded through a donation from Mr. Hephzibah Integrated Technologies Ltd., can be accessed through the toll-free number 08000005555 and online at (http://egov.plateaustate.gov.ng/).
