Junior Pope: Adanma Luke Opens Up On How She Has Been Supporting Victims Families Amidst Accusation Of Abandoning Them

On Wednesday, Nollywood producer Adanma Luke opened up on how she has been supporting the families of victims of the boat mishap that claimed the lives of actor Junior Pope and four other crew members on their way back from her ‘Another Side of Life’ movie shoot.

News About Nigeria reported that the five crew members drowned following the crash of the ill-fated boat at the Anam River in Anambra State.

The movie producer, who denied allegations making the rounds that she abandoned the families of the deceased actor and other crew members shared receipts showing her donations to the families.

She further explained that she has been actively collaborating with the families of the deceased by providing funds requested by the gravediggers, funds for caskets, and fuel for the police officers involved in the search for the bodies, among others.

Adanma Luke said this in a post shared on her Instagram account today (Wednesday).

The movie producer explained that, as against the narrative, she is human and cannot be heartless by folding her hands after the five people died in the boat mishap.

Her post on Instagram partly reads, “It has become necessary for me to make a statement because of the false allegations being made against me. Since the tragic loss of Junior Pope, Abigail, Precious, Friday and Olanti, my team and I have been actively collaborating with the families to provide all necessary funds as requested.

“From the gravediggers to the divers and fuel for the police officers involved in the search of the bodies. This also includes expenses for caskets, ambulances and additional funds to cover other related costs.”
