A trending video that was shared by an unidentified nurse on social media has shown that Jennifer Awele, the wife of popular Nigerian actor, Junior Pope, is unconscious.
The video was shared by a nurse in the hospital where she is receiving treatments.
The mother of three was said to be in severe pain following the death of her husband, who died alongside four others on their way back from Adanma Luke’s ‘Another Side of Life’ movie shoot.
The tragedy happened on Wednesday at the Anam River in Anambra State.
Their boat reportedly capsized in the middle of the river with none of them wearing a life jacket, which eventually led to their drowning.
The video has been getting various reactions from Nigerians with many slamming the nurse for posting such sensitive content on social media.
Reacting to the video, an Instagram user, @hairs_by_francesca, said, “As a nurse you come online to give out this information because? I thought there is something called confidentiality, na wa! Too much need for social media validation is becoming a problem.”
Another IG user @onyinyeclaire: “Why did you make a video of her? You even posted it. Like what’s wrong with people these days. That’s her privacy na. May God give her strength to carry on.”
Also, @_cosy_lady, said, “Nigerians don’t know what privacy means.Gosh, everyone wants to be the first to give update nawa ooo.”
