On Monday, the billionaire businessman, founder, and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, announced that he has been appointed as the new Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer of the American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, The Walt Disney Company, popularly known as Disney.
Musk, whose ventures span across various industries, including aerospace with SpaceX, and X social media platforms, made the announcement in a post on his official X account.
In the post, Musk noted that he is excited to work with Disney as their new Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer.
He added that he is also happy to work with top executives like Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy to make the company’s offerings more inclusive.
He further stated that his coming would help in making their content more woke and appealing.
His post reads, “Excited to join @Disney as their Chief DEI Officer. Can’t wait to work with Bob Iger & Kathleen Kennedy to make their content MORE woke! Even the linguini.”
