EDO 2024: I Will End Hunger If Elected - Imansuagbon

The Labour Party governorship aspirant in Edo State, Kenneth Imansuagbon, has stated that if elected, he will bring an end to the hunger in the state, News About Nigeria reports.

He disclosed this while speaking to newsmen, stating that the people of Edo State have suffered from hunger and pain for the last 20 years.

He further stated that his administration will ensure they fix the bad roads that have characterised the state, adding that with direct labour, resources will be moved to put an end to the bad roads and save the state from the landlock it has gotten into.

Imasuangbon, popularly known as Rice Man, noted that the state needs massive infrastructural work and development, maintaining that it was an evil act for the people not to have access to their state capital.

He further stated that due to his wealth of experience, having spent over 20 years in politics, and his street credibility and popularity, he is the best person to defeat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the main opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, in the September 21 election.

He also said that he would partner with security agencies to secure Edo and woo investors into the state, adding that Edo Diasporans and other foreign investors will need to come in and invest in the state.

He maintained that the glory of the state will be restored and Edo State will become attractive again.

“The state will have an industrial hub where youths and others will be engaged, and Edo will be an attraction again,” he said.
