Cute Geminme, a former girlfriend of Nigerian singer Sanni Goriola Wasiu, popularly known as Lil Frosh, has claimed that she experienced another series of abuses from the artiste months after their initial reconciliation.
News About Nigeria reported that the couple gained attention previously when images of Cute Geminme with a bruised face surfaced on social media, revealing alleged assaults by Lil Frosh, her then-boyfriend.
Geminme made these fresh revelations in response to Lil Frosh’s recent video, where he claimed to have never abused her but admitted to slapping her once.
In his Instagram video, Lil Frosh denied the abuse allegations, stating that he only slapped Geminme once because she disrespected his mother.
He claimed that the matter was resolved, and Geminme had a boil at the time, which he claimed to have helped nurse before she left his house.
Responding to Lil Frosh’s claims, Geminme shared a video on her Instagram account, countering his narrative.
She recounted that the abuse and toxicity resurfaced after their reconciliation in 2022.
Contrary to Lil Frosh’s statements, Geminme denied ever abusing his mother.
In her video, Geminme stated, “I have disappointed everyone, and I am deeply sorry. Firstly, I would like to state that Lil Frosh is lying. Not only did he abuse me physically, he abused me verbally and emotionally, and there’s proof of that all over the Internet.”
Geminme said that Lil Frosh approached her in 2021, expressing the need for her assistance in reviving his career.
Despite refusing at that time, she revealed that he pleaded with her again in October 2022 and out of pity, she agreed to resume the relationship with the hope that he had changed for the better.
However, a few months into the relationship, Geminme claimed that Lil Frosh’s previous aggressive behaviour returned, and the situation got worse.
She accused him of controlling her actions, dictating her friendships, and even threatening her friends.
Geminme claimed to have voice recordings and evidence of Lil Frosh’s threats against her and her friends.
The former girlfriend explained, “Little did I know he was taking screenshots to frame me. He threatened my other friends, and that was when I started making up my mind to end things with him, but he started threatening me also that he’d kill himself and blame me for it.”
