The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Revolution Plus Property Limited, a real estate company in Lagos State, Bamidele Onalaja, has debunked the claim by one Kayode Onalaja that the company defrauded him, News About Nigeria reports.
It can be recalled that a video went viral on social media where Mr. Kayode Oladipo accused the company of defrauding him of N40 million, which was paid for the allocation of 20 plots of land.
Onalaja, however, referred to the claim as false, stating that Oladipo was not defrauded and had indeed subscribed for 20 plots of land from Revolution Plus Property Limited at Dallas Court, Lekki, and Royalty Gardens, Ajah, in Lagos State.
He noted that two out of the original 20 plots were fully paid for by the client, while the necessary documentation has been completed and handed over to him.
He further disclosed that based on the contract conditions, the company does not process properties that have not been paid for in full with their associated costs, as the company policy requires the relocation of such subscribers to another site upon completion of payment or refund of the deposited sum less than 40 percent.
He maintained that Oladipo had defaulted in his payment pattern and was therefore relocated to another land site at Amazon Estate, Epe, which he declined, while the option of refunding the sum advanced was also rejected by him.
Onalaja also stated that the company had finalised the allocation of five plots to Oladipo at Amazon Estate based on the payment made and the necessary documents forwarded to him.
He therefore urged members of the public to disregard the claim by the customer that he was defrauded, maintaining that it was false and malicious.
