Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has found himself at the center of controversy once again.

This time, his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has accused him of cyberbullying and harassment, leading to the issuance of a cease-and-desist letter by Momodu’s legal team, News About Nigeria reports.

The cease-and-desist letter, which surfaced online on Wednesday, January 10, alleges that Davido and his associates orchestrated online attacks, defamatory remarks, and threats directed at Momodu and her inner circle.

Momodu’s legal team stated that such behaviour violates her constitutional rights and disregards fundamental principles of decency and respect.

The letter mentioned that Davido will be held accountable for any harm caused to his baby mama.

This comes after Tiwa Savage issued a petition against Davido.

News About Nigeria reported that in the circulating petition, Tiwa Savage accuses Davido of using disrespectful language in response to an Instagram story post that featured herself and Sophia Momodu.

Tiwa Savage expresses disappointment at Davido’s alleged threats and reminds him of her unwavering support during difficult times, particularly when he lost his son, Ifeanyi.

The petition states that Savage received messages from Davido instructing her not to respond, claiming that she was taunting him with derogatory language.

The complaint lodged by Tiwa Savage claims that Davido’s actions amount to harassment, both online and offline, posing a direct threat to her constitutional rights to life, privacy, and dignity.

Tiwa Savage called on the police to hold Davido responsible for any potential harm to her or her family.
