A Nigerian woman, identified as Mumzee, has become the recipient of numerous gifts and cash on social media after revealing the sacrifice she made for her husband, News About Nigeria reports.
Mumzee took to Twitter a few days ago to share that she woke up at 4:30 am to prepare lunch for her husband, a gesture she didn’t usually practice.
She explained that the change was prompted by her husband’s female colleague bringing him food with two spoons for them to share at the office.
Her post quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from Twitter users.
Some argued that she started cooking out of fear that her husband might be lured away by another woman over food.
However, many others came to her defense, praising her for being a good and submissive wife.
In a heartwarming turn of events, social media users rallied behind Mumzee, expressing their support.
Some even requested her bank details and began showering her with cash gifts. At the time of writing, Mumzee had received over N2 million in donations, which she used to make some household purchases.

Adding to the outpouring of generosity, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) presented Mumzee with a N200,000 voucher for the purchase of fuel and petroleum-related products at their fuel stations.
This gesture brought joy to the expectant mother, who had faced criticism for her commitment to preparing meals for her husband.
The positive response continued as Mumzee received promises of additional gifts, including an iPhone 15 Pro Max, a smart TV, DStv subscription, and more.
Earlier offers had included promises of a bungalow, car, bed frame, mobile phone, wardrobe, and various other items.
