As Christmas draws near and the year rounds up, Nigerian music sensation Kizz Daniel surprised his fans with the release of two brand-new party anthems, ‘Twe Twe’ and ‘Too Busy to Be Bae’.
News About Nigeria gathered that the singer had previously teased the songs on his social media pages but didn’t set a specific date for their release.
These singles come hot on the heels of Kizz Daniel’s 2023 album ‘Maverick’, featuring hit tracks such as ‘Buga’, ‘Cough’, and ‘My G’.
In a statement that the singer shared with newsmen on Tuesday, the singer shared his excitement for the latest releases, pointing out that ‘Twe Twe’ harmonises tradition with contemporary.
This upbeat and lively song finds its roots in the rich cultural legacy of the Nupe tribe in Nigeria.
“‘Twe Twe’, which is a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity, is a vibrant and energetic track that draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Nupe tribe in Nigeria.
“We were able to seamlessly weave traditional Nupe sounds into this infectious anthem, creating a sonic experience that is both authentic and exhilarating,” Kizz Daniel explained.
Produced by a trio of beat makers – Ayzed, Killertunes, and Blaise Beats – the singer said he believes that the track’s rhythms and dynamic instrumentation will leave a lasting impression on the music industry. He added that he is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of art.
On the other hand, ‘Too Busy to Be Bae’, produced by P Prime, explores the modern complexities of relationships in today’s fast-paced world.
It dives into the difficulties people encounter as they manage their lives in the never-ending rush, leaving little time for love entanglements.
He describes the song as an introspective and realistic take on the challenges of finding love amidst the stress of a busy lifestyle.
