Former Presidential Aspirant Commends Ribadu For Improved Security

Former presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has commended the National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, over his contributions to national peace, News About Nigeria reports.

According to Adamu, within just only 3 months after Ribadu’s assumption, Nigeria has experienced a reduction in oil theft, Abuja-Kaduna road kidnapping and banditry.

The APC Chieftain, who said this on his official X account, also said that the former Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has changed the national security narrative.

He said, “Since assuming office over 3 months ago, Malam Nuhu Ribadu is able to coordinate a process that saw to the increase of Nigeria’s oil production from 1.1 million barrels to 1.7 million barrels, without single vandalism, militants attacks or confrontation with the security agencies.”

According to him, Ribadu’s efforts are strange considering the level of peace achieved, especially in the Abuja-Kaduna highway and railway, adding that users of the road had suffered security threats earlier while plying the road.

He also stated that since Ribadu took over the role of the NSA, it was as if the button was switched off on the criminal kidnappers because the road has become safer again, and travellers are well protected.

Similarly, he said, on the ethnic clash in Plateau, Benue and Southern Kaduna, all cases are on the drop as the fighting between herders and farmers is off the contemporary media records, noting they suddenly disappeared.

Adamu therefore commended the NSA for his hard work, dedication, commitment, sincerity of purpose, high sense of patriotism, and belief in the Nigerian Project, which has, in turn, reduced insecurity drastically in Nigeria.
