Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, son of David Oyedepo, Founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, has resigned from the church, News About Nigeria reports.
Pastor Isaac, the second son of Bishop Oyedepo, was recently appointed as the Global Youth Pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide before his resignation to start his own ministry.
His resignation was announced on Wednesday by Pastor Leke Beecroft, one of the long-term pastoral assistants at Living Faith Church Headquarters in Ota, on his media platform known as Church Gist.
In a video that he shared, Pastor Isaac explained that he has a different calling from God, emphasizing that his mandate is to spread the fire of revival in this generation.
“My God-given mandate is to reclaim a generation and ensure that this generation witnesses the revival fire of God.”
Pastor Isaac and his elder brother, David Jr., were ordained as pastors in May 2007 by the popular American preacher, Kenneth Copeland.
News About Nigeria has also learned that he is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and has served as the resident pastor of Living Faith Church International, Maryland, USA, since October 2018.
He has also served in Living Faith South Africa and Lokogoma, Abuja, before being redeployed to the headquarters, Canaanland Ota.
Isaac is married to Ayomitide Oyedepo, and their union has been blessed with four children.
His elder brother, David Oyedepo (Jnr), currently serves as the Resident Pastor of Faith Tabernacle at the Living Faith Church Headquarters in Ota.
