Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun, the Nigerian music executive and ex-husband of Tiwa Savage, has expressed his gratitude and admiration for the singer’s exceptional parenting, News About Nigeria gathered.
His post stemmed from trending conversations online these days where single mothers call out their baby daddies on social media platforms for not taking care of their children.
In a post via his Instagram page on Saturday, he acknowledged Tiwa Savage’s dedication to co-parenting their son, Jamil, despite their past relationship and divorce.
He praised her for making their co-parenting relationship ‘soft with love’ and for consistently presenting him as a ‘super dad’ to their child even at the time when he couldn’t afford it.
Teebillz said he counts himself lucky seeing what other men in similar situations are going through in the hands of their baby mamas and exes.
“When I see what other men goes through! I can’t help but count my blessings! 4ever grateful to Mama J for making my relationship so soft with love…..! Even when I can’t afford….. The duo had a traditional marriage on November 23, 2013. Their white wedding was held on April 26, 2014, and they have a son, Jamil Balogun, who was born in June 2015.
On April 28, 2016, Balogun accused Tiwa of infidelity and her family members of witchcraft. Savage later revealed that Balogun had a serious drug issue, was financially reckless and their marriage had been over for a while.
