A member of Spirit World Mission Church in Oye-Ekiti debunked claims by Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, asserting that their pastor, Adegoke Jeremiah, is after her life.
News About Nigeria had reported that the Ekiti chef, in an Instagram post on Friday, accused pastor Adegoke of pursuing her.
According to her, she now lives in constant fear for her life because the pastor is attempting to destroy her life.
Responding to Chef Dammy’s claim in a now-viral video, one of the members of Spirit World Mission Church, who was also part of Chef Dammy’s cooking marathon, revealed that she is no longer a member of the church.
He further explained that all she said were lies against Pastor Adegoke because she left their church in June this year.
In his words: “All lies. Everything she said yesterday was false. She left the church in June. Since then, nobody has been in contact with her. It’s been over four months now. So how did she come up with all the lies and false claims she put out there yesterday? I need her to come out with evidence to support her claims against the pastor. She said everything without evidence. These are all lies.”
The church member urged Chef Dammy to provide evidence to back her claims against the pastor and noted that she was dragging the pastor online to gain attention and maintain relevance.
According to him, she has achieved nothing since leaving the church because she is nothing without it.
He also stated that he does not know why she left the church, but he believes Dammy left for reasons known only to her.
“It was her decision to leave, and the reasons for it are better known to her. Her parents and some other people claimed that we were suffocating her and asked us to let her breathe, to leave her alone. We left her alone, and then she left the church.”
