Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted an Anglican pastor, Rev. Agbadamashi Emmanuel, together with his wife and children along the East-West road by Evwreni junction, Delta state.
News About Nigeria gathered that, the family were abducted on Friday while they were travelling from Ughelli to the Uwheru community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the State.
It was gathered that, on their way, the gunmen accosted them and marched them into the bush.
Their abduction was confirmed on Monday by the Public Relations Officer of the Anglican Communion, Ughelli Diocese, Hon. Justice Iyasere.
Justice Iyasere, who confirmed that they were in the kidnappers’ den, was not able to specify if their abductors had demanded ransom.
