Famous Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed admiration for the remarkable journey of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, also known as Ilebaye.
News About Nigeria reports that Ilebaye, a 22-year-old model from Kogi State, emerged as the winner of the N120 million grand prize during the grand finale of the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition.
She secured victory with 30.8% of the total votes, defeating her closest rival, Mercy Eke, who received 23.48% of the votes.
Ilebaye’s win was particularly surprising as she had been evicted after just three weeks during her initial appearance on the show in the ‘Level Up’ 2022 season.
In the All-Stars season, she was considered an underdog.
Davido, celebrating Baye’s success, shared his thoughts on the achievement via his X handle. According to him, he loves a success story.
“Ilebaye… I love a success story!” he tweeted.
In response, Ilebaye expressed her gratitude with a “Thank you OBO” message in the comments section.
Thank you OBO🙏❤️
