Man Found Dead In His Own Hotel In Ilorin

The Managing Director of a well-known hotel in Ilorin has been found dead in one of the hotel’s rooms.

The recent incident has raised concerns and caused a police investigation into the matter. According to reports by PM News, the hotel’s supervisor reported a suspected homicide to the police in Ilorin, leading to an immediate investigation by the law enforcement agency.

News About Nigeria gathered that a team of police detectives was quickly dispatched to the hotel premises to assess the situation of things.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of the hotel’s Managing Director, lying motionless on a bed in one of the hotel rooms. An initial observation did not reveal any signs of physical violence or foul play.

However, the circumstances surrounding the death remain unknown. The police have also reportedly taken charge of the situation to discover the cause of the sad incident.

Meanwhile, CSP Okasanmi Ajayi, the police spokesman in Kwara, has provided an update on the situation. He said, “Doctors at a hospital confirmed the hotel boss dead, and the body was deposited in a morgue pending autopsy.”

Ajayi also said that details of the ongoing investigation will be made public once the law enforcement agencies have gathered enough evidence and reached conclusive findings.

“Details of the investigation will be made public as soon as possible,” the police officer said.
