Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has called out the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, and the party’s governorship candidate for the 2023 Lagos election Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour for keeping mum on the tragic demise of former Marlian music signee, Mohbad.

Omokri, who knocked Obi and Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour for failing to react to the singer’s death suggested that Obi and Vivour would have visited the deceased singer’s family should he have died during the election period.

” Where is Gbadebo Rhodes Vivor in all of these? If a dog had given birth to puppies during the campaign period, GRV and Peter Obi would have gone there with prominent Obidients to celebrate with the dog. Did they not visit Akere Spare Parts Market and donate money to victims? Did GRV not visit hospitals? Did he not go to churches to shake hands and smile? But now that Mohbad needs them, where are they?,” he asked.

His comment comes as Nigerians continue to call for justice following the death of the former Marlians label signee.

News About Nigeria recalls that netizens have continued to call for the arrest and prosecution of Naira Marley and Sam Larry over the role they played in the singer’s death.

However, veteran music producer ID Cabasa has advised Nigerians not to put emotions into their judgment as they seek to get justice for the singer.

He advised that the case should not just be investigated through autopsy but that the police start their investigation from the allegations of intimidation and bullying against Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
