Mohbad Autopsy Results Expected In 4 Weeks

The Department of States Services, DSS has joined the Nigeria Police Force in the quest to unravel the possible cause of the death of popular Nigerian music star, Mohbad.

Announcing the development in a statement on Tuesday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, explained that the DSS was brought into the investigation to further deepen the investigation effort and to ensure that those involved in the death of the singer are brought to book.

“However in order to boost investigations, I have invited the Department of States Services, DSS to join the investigation and widen the dragnet with interagency collaboration and use the best of class technology to unearth the truth,” a statement by Mr Sanwo-Olu partly read.

His comment comes as protesters nationwide continue to demand justice over the death of the singer.

News About Nigeria recalls that many have continued to point accusing fingers against Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry over the death of the singer.

Recall that the singer had in June petitioned the Nigeria police over continued intimidation by his former label boss and Sam Larry the music promoter.

However, in the heat of the wide call by Nigerians, the Lagos state police command set up a 13-man panel to investigate the possible cause of the singer’s death.

The state commissioner of police gave the panel two weeks to submit its report.

The Governor, however, detailed that he had instructed that those who must have played a role in the singer’s death be made to face the law on completion of the investigation.
