2027: Presidency Speaks On Distractions By Peter Obi, Obidients

Former presidential media aide and activist, Reno Omokri has agreed with Professor Wole Soyinka that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, did not win the February 25, 2023 election, News About Nigeria reports.

Omokri said this on Thursday on his X account in response to Wole Soyinka’s statement in South Africa where the Nobel laureate alleged that the leadership of the LP knew that Peter Obi, lost the February 25 election but were only trying to force “a lie” on Nigerians, especially youths, that Obi won the election.

Omokri also went on to urge Peter Obi’s supporters to wake up to the reality that their principal lost the election and to stop insulting Wole Soyinka for stating facts.

He said that Obi was just a mere pawn in the hands of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to ensure that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, lost the election.

“You guys ought to stop insulting Professor Soyinka. Your guy lost. Wake up. Smell the coffee. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and accept reality! The only purpose Mr. Obi served was to allow himself be deceived by the APC to split the PDP’s votes and hand an easy victory to President Bola Tinubu. In other words, he was a mere pawn. Deal with it!,” he stated.

Omokri also charged Peter to let Nigeria and Nigerians breathe noting that he will never become President of a united Nigeria.
