Nollywood actor Yul Edochie urged his fans and followers to stop taking advice from individuals on social media platforms, News About Nigeria gathered.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Edochie highlighted that many of the people who position themselves as advisers on social media haven’t sorted out their own lives or resolved their own family issues.

He emphasised the need for individuals to focus on their own journeys and do what works best for them, rather than relying on unsolicited advice from online sources.

“Are you still listening to social media advisers? I laugh. 99.9% of the people advising you have not even figured out the direction of their own lives. They haven’t solved their own family problems.

“Brother, sister, do you. Do what works for you. Focus on your journey.”

This comes shortly after he described marriage as a beautiful thing despite the marital challenges he is currently facing.

Edochie, who is in the midst of divorce proceedings with his first wife May Edochie and has faced social media backlash owing to his marriage to his second wife, Nollywood actress Judy Austin, emphasized the beauty of marriage.

According to his Instagram post, he urged those who want to get married not to be discouraged as there is no foolproof formula for a lasting marriage.

He explained that some couples who dated for many years might not have a lasting marriage, while others who met recently could enjoy a long and successful union.
