A man and his family were deported from Canada shortly after arriving in the country.
A Nigerian lady, identified as Adaeze Ozoha took to TikTok to share the terrible account of the man and his family of four, claiming that the family was ordered packing immediately at the airport, News About Nigeria gathered.
According to Adaeze, the family landed in Canada on a visit visa, suggesting that they were not staying permanently.
When they arrived at the airport, immigration officers reviewed their paperwork and discovered that they were truly on a visit.
The family was then asked whether they would remain permanently if they found work during their visit, and they wasted no time and said yes.
The family responded with that because the immigration agency had told them that they could alter their visiting visa to a work permit even at the point of arrival.
However, according to Adaeze, this reaction forced the officer’s expulsion. The immigration officers interpreted this to suggest that they were entering Canada on a visit but had no intention of returning to their own country.
