Charly Boy Sends Heartfelt Message To Peter Obi On His 62nd Birthday

Popular Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, congratulated Labor Party (LP) 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi on his 62nd birthday.

Peter Obi marked his 62nd birthday yesterday Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

The political commentator tweeted on his Twitter account on Wednesday that the former governor of Anambra State-inspired Nigerian youth to work harder and get more for themselves.

Charly Boy claimed that Obi’s ability to listen to others’ needs with empathy made him one of Nigeria’s leaders.

He wrote: “Our beloved Peter Obi, you have inspired young Nigerians to be more and want more.

“Your compassion to listen to the needs of others stands you out.

“In dis battle with the soulless, evil, criminal enterprise, we the people have anointed you.  ‘The Chosen’”

Meanwhile, the veteran singer, Charly Boy had lamented the current situation in the country.

News About Nigeria also reports that in the Federal Capital Territory and other parts of the country, fuel prices at petrol stations have increased from N539 to N617.

On Twitter, Charly Boy wondered what could be more chaotic than what Nigeria is currently going through.

He complained that the current government was worse than that of former President Muhammad Buhari.

The National President of the Independent Petroleum Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo also confirmed the development.

Okoronkwo explained, “That is the regime we are in with removing fuel subsidies. The prices will continue to fluctuate based on market forces and the changes in Dollar in the foreign exchange market. That is why we are pushing for an alternative to fuel.”
